Rather than entering the corporate world after completing his studies in business and accounting, Omari wanted to combine his passion for business and the food and beverage industry.
He co-founded a cloud-based accounting software start-up, focusing on the hospitality industry. After seeing a number of café and bar owning friends struggling with accounting & tax compliance he knew they were onto a winner.
When Omari isn’t out meeting with clients across Melbourne, he can be found in foodie hotspots like Fitzroy, St Kilda, South Yarra or the CBD, trying the coolest new spots of the moment. His laid-back sartorial style means he is not only comfortable when putting in long days to drive new business, but he also fits perfectly into the industry’s alternative vibe. As their platform works across multiple devices, Omari never goes anywhere without his iPhone and tablet.
