In the role of Maintenance Co-Ordinator you’ll be responsible for working with and assisting the Senior Maintenance Supervisor and Technical Manager to manage the local maintenance staff, ensuring that cleaning and posting of our street furniture are undertaken on time and to the correct quality. This role, whilst field based, would suit someone looking to get off the tools and start their career within a management role.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Supervise daily operational activities of Street Furniture, including Bus Shelters, Poster Bollards, Bins and Benches, ensuring quality and performance standards are always achieved and maintained.
  • Ensure Street Furniture is cleaned maintained and posted in accordance with the Company specification, following given instructions.
  • Effectively organise and manage any field staff they may have working for them, such that they meet company quality and productivity requirements.
  • Ensure that staff are appropriately trained and competent at all times; undertake annual competency assessments
  • Undertake formal quality, environmental and WHS inspections in the field, in accordance with company requirements.

You’ll be someone looking to start a career in management, displays a high standard of interpersonal and communication skills and who leads by example. As well as:
  • Have a full, clean driving and forklift licence (forklift licence desired but not necessary).
  • Be physically fit.
  • Have previous experience of working within a team environment
  • Be computer literate. (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and familiar and unafraid of using mobile devices)
  • Willingness to work un-sociable hours as required (including shift and night work on occasions).
  • An ability to work well and enjoy working in the constantly changing and challenging operations arena.
