JCDecaux wins Willoughby with a plan for asset overhaul.

JCDecaux has been awarded the tender for the on street advertising rights for Willoughby City Council.

JCDecaux Australia, a subsidiary of JCDecaux S.A., has signed an exclusive contract for the operation and management of street furniture throughout the suburbs of Willoughby Council.

Managing both advertising and non-advertising structures, JCDecaux will immediately roll-out an improvement scheme that will modernise and redevelop the existing bus shelters and free standing bollards to provide cleaner, more sustainable and more attractive street furniture for the public and advertisers.

The Willoughby Council area has a population of over 71,900 and includes 14 suburbs; Artarmon, Castle Cove, Castlecrag, Chatswood, Chatswood West, Lane Cove North (part), Middle Cove, Naremburn, Northbridge, North Willoughby, Roseville (part), St Leonards (part), Willoughby and Willoughby East.

This is the first time JCDecaux has held the Willoughby City Council contract.
