JCDecaux reinvented urban mobility, creating alternative, more environmentally-friendly modes of transport for cities around the globe with the Self-Service Bicycle Scheme. They are designed, operated, maintained and regulated by award-winning Cyclocity, a subsidiary of JCDecaux.
In 2010, JCDecaux Australia launched the first advertising funded bike scheme in Brisbane. Today, JCDecaux’s CityCycle has 2,000 bikes with 150 bike stations located in and around the Brisbane CBD with more than 1.85 million trips taken by consumers since its launch. A mobile app, website and call centre are available to assist users.
