FAQ

I'm interested in advertising. How much does it cost?

Advertising costs vary depending on the location, format, and campaign duration. As a general guide, campaigns can range from approximately $3,000–$30,000 per week for digital sites, while classic billboard campaigns can range from around $3,000 for a standard poster, and up to $400,000+ for premium iconic sites over a four-week period. For a tailored quote please submit a sales enquiry form.

I’m a charity looking to advertise. How do I apply?

For charity advertising enquiries, we recommend applying through the Commitment to Charity section on our website. This ensures the enquiry is directed to the appropriate team for review.

How can I apply for a job?

Do you have a full list of product sites and sizes?

JCDecaux Australia has a suite of over 5000 assets which makes it impossible to share. Some are booked in packages and some can be booked individually e.g. Large Format. If there is a specific site you are after, you are best to submit an enquiry form.

What is the standard booking term for a classic and digital campaign?

Large format and rail static assets run for 4 weeks minimum. Transit and small format static run for min 2 weeks. Digital is 1 week minimum unless you book programmatically.

How quickly can I book an outdoor advertising campaign?

It all depends on availability and artwork deadlines. The earlier the better to secure the inventory you want. Artwork for static assets are required 3 weeks prior to campaign start date and digital is required 1 week prior. Please also allow time for proposal turnaround time and payment set up.

Do you have a creative agency that can assist in creating the artwork?

We recommend Newcolony

Can I book 1 small format or transit panel?

We have placed minimum package recommendations for campaigns on a small budget. This is to ensure campaigns still receive a decent reach. However these budget recommendations are recommended for local area targeting only as the panel weightings are not strong enough for wide coverage.

Do you hold inventory once a proposal has been sent out?

No we do not. Inventory is only held once we receive written confirmation of intention to book and contract. At this stage, inventory is only held for 72hrs so swift payment is required.

Can you send the specifications of an asset?

Specification details will be sent once a campaign is locked in. As most specs are designed to specific sites/panels, we need to ensure it is the exact asset that is being contracted that is sent.

Can I select the bus routes to advertise on?

Unfortunately not. Transit advertising is either booked via packs which provide reach coverage across the desire market or can be booked by depot. We can select the depot however, not the route. Whilst we post in the depot required, we unfortunately cannot control the routes the bus ends up doing. At times, the transit authority may need to take buses from other depots to cover off other areas routes due to a bus being offline ect.. This is out of our control. We recommend booking multiple buses to ensure desired coverage is achieved.

Can I select the depots for portrait side/portrait back bus formats?

Only full bus wraps, Metrobacks, fullbacks and megasides can be booked by depot. All other formats can only be booked in packs which achieve a state wide metro spread.
